(no mods)
Any roleplay tips or ideas to not make it boring? Which is a feat given skyrims lack of a in-depth combat system.

Crossbows are OP as -blam!-.

[quote]ebony crossbow would be a good idea

Heavy armour + Crossbow. You can also trick the reload system by unequip/re-equipping the gun through the favourites box. Unstoppable tank mode = Activated <.<
-
Play a battle ranger. No sneak, draw melee weapons when the reload speed isn't an option. If you were using mods, I'd suggest Duel: Combat Realism and any mod that can cap your sneak skill at 30. Sneak levels absurdly fast.

Use the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow for maximum win. Laugh at any other archery weapon with your raw damage per hit.

Edited by BannedBacon: 7/9/2014 9:25:28 AMBeef up archery. That's it. And choose Dawnguard for more crossbows. The Dwarven ones look cool with Dwarven armour.

BOWS OR DIE.

Chose a race you like. Have them wear armor you like. Arm them with a crossbow. Pick archery perks that suit you.

1 ReplyYou should try a crossbow build on Dark Souls! :)

1 ReplyCrossbows by themselves are boring. Any weapon is. It's what you do with them that counts. Go to a massive nordic ruin, and see what happens. I have a headshots-only rule for draugr, and the longer I can go without being detected, the better.

well crossbows are pretty much synonymous with the dawnguard in that game, so join them. make it a personal quest or something to kill anything and everything undead. standard archery build i suppose, although sneaking may be useless (never played around with crossbows)

Just a standard archery build, it's the same thing really.
