Why is the Saints Row series garbage??
What ever happened to the deep, emotional storytelling. The fun activites, the gangs, characters, and fun co-op. Saints row used to have meaning. Every story mission used to have me on the edge of my seat because I wanted to know what happens next. Saints row 1&2 were the best games ever (IMO).now 3&4 are just garbage. It's a joke. The only thing it excels in is humor. If you upgrade a character fully. YOUR CHARACTER IS A GOD.you dont even need cheats. You become a PRESIDENT!!! of the u.s. for the first 20 min of the the game. The new characters are just horrible. It's all DILDOS AND SUPERPOWERS WITH HUMOR!!! I dont understand how you can -blam!- up a good series. Thats all saints row is known for now. It pains me to see a good series go to waste. The only gems were 1&2. Don't you agree?

Saints Row was about gangsters in 1 & 2, I loved it. It was something GTA hadn't achieved. You could argue SA but SA gang related missions were nowhere near the type of missions SR1&2 had. 3&4 were an insult to that series. They are steaming piles of garbage.

I liked the seriousness of the first two. Half serious, half humorous. I prefer seriousness.

To be honest I have no clue. I used to like the originals a lot but now... It's gone a bit to far onto the weird side. Killing people with Dildos is fun and all but and fighting aliens is pretty cool but what happened to the serious side of Saints Row.

Imma have to disagree, the saints row games are pretty cool. I was not a big fan of the saints row 4 story though. The customization features you can do to your character in saints row are way better then the customization features that GTA5 has. With grand theft auto they try and base the game with real life things, saints row on the other hand is something that would be more imaginary.

Played #1 when it came out. Good game. #2 was a bit of a let down. IMO its the best of the series, but started to leave the gang thing and focus on corporations. #3 is horrible. I fully regret buying that. I won't even list obvious reasons. I was done there w SR. #4 was originally going to be DLC for #3. Solo... Its not anything new.. Its a mod more so. But ended up selling as full game. I know there's horrible game design in it and etc. If you like it, fine. That's alright. But to be so blind to obvious errors and flat out lazy crap, is disgusting. I'm not being toxic to your tastes, if you liked it, I'm glad you had fun. But it has gone so far downhill I can't wait to see it burn, or do a 180

I definitely prefer the first 2 games in the series, but I had a ton of fun playing 4 as well. I don't like 3 as much.
