Well, they definitely aren't trying to lose focus on your K/D. Instead of giving you the amount of deaths you had at the end of a game, they go ahead and spell out your K/D for you for everyone to see. I personally haven't heard of this skill rating your referring to... But it reminds me of reachs BPR

  • yes they give it to you directly for the match because as far as I could find.. they don't keep your ratio and accumulate it across games. so they give you your ratio for that one match.. because that's the only time (at least in the alpha) you'll see it.. I seem to recall the site retaining record of your most recent couple of matches... but in your profile for pvp I didn't see any overall k/d rating.. what I did see was a combat rating. I didn't play hardly any crucible in the alpha.. but as I recall my combat rating was around 8.something .. I had won every (or all but one) game I played and had a decidedly good k/d ratio from my games.. but I wasn't racking up like 20+ kills a round so.. not sure I think i'll be very happy if they give a more comprehensive assessment of your skills since I would much rather people look at your all around multiplayer capability for consideration (for getting into a clan for example) than just one, narrow stat
