Should I Get The 1st Borderlands?
Borderlands 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, and I've just returned to it after taking a break from it for a few months. I've been thinking about getting the 1st Borderlands before Tales From The Borderlands and the Pre Sequel, so I would know the full story before playing them. Would you say it's worth it? Do any of you know about how much it costs right now?
Edit: Got it. I'm enjoying it so far, I can see why people like 2 much more though.

Borderlands 1: +Better loot pool +Weapon proficiencies +Better stat scaling +Better balance overall +Better environments +Gore! +Revolvers +Very rare but actually good pearlescent items +elemental DoT +enemies feel threatening -gameplay can stale Borderlands 2: +More diverse gameplay (at lvl 50, higher levels become more cookie cutter) +brands stand out more +new shield gimmicks -grindfest -horrible balance -worse stat scaling -nothing feels rewarding I really want to like BL2 more but it has 3 bad changes for every good one. It can be more fun most of the time but you'll eventually get frustrated by its overbearing limitations.
