I like how this thread is auto hidden for being reported yet all the mouth breathing shitposters and trolls repost "Islam is a religion of peace?" with similar images and get two dozen replies, if they really are lucky; a hundred, before it drops off the front page.
-
I would say a yes or no. The bible is meant to teach about peace and shit, but people go extreme, believing anyone who does not believe in god, infact praises Satan and they're stupidity does not comprehend the fact that there are different religions or people who are atheists, (such as myself) and will go out to attack them, this goes at gays as well. I blame the peaceful BS on the people due to extremists, though there are people who try to follow the bible as well, I put them in a different category away from extremism.

Even if a religion prides itself with focusing on peace, once it becomes popular that image fades away, as people focus more on the religion being a title instead a set of beliefs.

2 RepliesAnd you are going to hell

1 ReplyChristianity is a religion of peace as long as you agree with all of their values and convert.

4 RepliesEdited by Saleem: 6/21/2014 1:37:53 AMIt's not necessarily the religion itself but the many idiots who buy into it too deeply.

8 RepliesITT: "So a handful make the rest look bad?" Me: If it were a handful, you wouldn't be seeing it so often.

Know.

1 ReplyThis thread is....disgusting. All religions teach peace and love. People tend to bend and warp the teachings into something evil.
-
Religion was created to control. When Humanity started expanding they needed something for the people to believe in to control them and dictate the future.
-
3 RepliesI think only buddhism comes close to that given the extremists that all religions seem to have
-
Oh, you're one of those idiots who look at a handful of people within a very large group and call the whole thing evil. Well, all your credibility just went out the window.
-
1 ReplyExcept it is. Religion is inanimate and therefore not capable of emotions. People on the other hand are capable of emotions, like hate
-
all religions have their idiots.
-
Religion? meh...

Inb4 banned.

And another Kiyo thread does what she wants it to.
-
I think it is about peace and love, but only if you read in between the lines of hate, ignorance and death. And lies.
-
8 RepliesYes, it is. Following your logic, all Germans are evil because some of them were evil? All humans are evil because some of them are evil? All food is bad for you because some of it is bad for you? Don't blame an entire religion because of a few morons who call themselves a part of said religion. A TRUE Christian is nothing like the idiots at, say, Westboro.

2 RepliesSo edgy. "WAHHH I hate the military and religion, I'm so hardcore!!!!"
-
Individuals are evil.

I hope people can be banned for this.

1 ReplyITT: No True Scotsman fallacy.

Just -blam!- off Kiyo. Please.

2 RepliesYes. I'll say this, anyone who claims to be catholic, baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, or any of the other denominations who go around and spread hate upon gays, other religions, atheist, or anything they don't agree with are not true Christians. Being a Christian means you are trying to act like Christ, and believe in his teachings. He teaches us to love everyone no matter what. To hope for the best for everyone no matter what. To treat everyone fairly and kindly no matter what. Now I'm not saying I'm a perfect Christian. I slip up sometimes and get angry and bash people, but I shouldn't do that and I really try not to. But what I've said above is what being a Christian means and people who go around hating others aren't true Christians.
