I think a lot of division in groups will be based on who gets what system now. A lot of people that were formerly Xbox owners have switched over to the PS4. The most useful thing about groups and these subgroups for me will be figuring out who I can play with (once I get my Xbone) in the Beta (I'll still be playing on my 360) and in the actual game.
I assume the people that you play crucible with will also need people to play raids with and people to go through the storyline and that interaction will all be based in groups. So I'm just throwing it out there now, my skills are officially on the market.

I'm with king. I am waiting closer to launch to see which platform I get it on. PS4 is looking the most promising. Will you use to be part of a clan in order to post in the clans threads? If not, then clans for each platform would work just nicely in order to get a fire team together who is online when you are. Perhaps you post there when you are online and looking for teammates?

Sounds good to me. Yeah, platforms are definitely a possible one. And a likely one, now that you mention it. Otherwise it may indeed get confusing as to who is playing where. And that would suck.

That's one thing that sucks about Destiny being multiplatform. It used to be we could just have a general game night in any group. Someone makes a thread "hey lets play some H3" everyone jumps in and has all the good times. Now they may exclude people based on who is playing. Kinda sucks.
