Except supercharged with special abilities that give you boosts on how powerful your weapons are and throwing knives and ADS and double jump. Stuff you probably could have in Halo if the fanbase wasn't so ravenously bitchy. I will admit I haven't played any of it so my opinion might be completely unfounded; however, I watched the E3 gameplay and while it looked fun the only thing that I could compare it to was Halo 4 mixed with more COD stuff laced in a magical fantasy skin.
There's the sprinting at spawn, abilities that look similar to armor abilities, vehicles that look fairly weak. Pretty much everything Halo fans seemed to hate. Hate on my opinion if you want, it just seems fairly interesting is all.

When people say it looks like Halo it's because they ripped the player animations right out of Halo. Every movement is exactly the same as what you'll see in a Halo game. Everything from running to jumping to reloading, to melee is 100% the same. The only other comparison I would draw from it is that the high health and floaty mechanics make the gunfights pretty similar in some ways. However, the weapons, supers, and class based mobility skills all help to give the Destiny multieplayer it's own uniqueness.

I won't hate on your opinion I'll just say that's it's the dumbest thing I've read all day.

No, it's not.

3 RepliesActually, a lot of people complain that the vehicles are overpowered. They pack one hell of a punch! I played both the Alpha and Halo 4, and I didn't really get that feeling. It still felt a lot more fast paced than Halo 4 for sure.

3 RepliesYiy musst be retarded b4eecause no it does not!

The PvP doesn't interest me one bit, to be honest. And shouldn't this be in #destiny?

1 ReplyWow, cryo tubes are comfy. I'm back. 2 years of silence. OP, try playing 4-player co-op in a massive open world on Halo 4 and fight hordes of enemies.

Edited by Rubio Audiotre: 6/23/2014 1:13:31 PMI saw this as well, i really don't think PVP is going to be great from what i'm seeing. The game is fast paced which may not be a problem but with ADs, Specializations that enhance certain parts of the body or weaponry it clearly adds an edge to other players who play longer. On top of that grinding, which is something i want to completely avoid. Although i still want to feel how it plays though, i kinda want to see how magic effects gameplay. game looks good though! :D

When watching it seems similar but playing it (Even in the alpha stage of development) it had it's own feel to it
Stuff you probably could have in Halo if the fanbase wasn't so ravenously bitchy.
All games should feature everything.

2 RepliesEvery game with sprint and ADS instantly = CoD

What looks like Armour Abilities? =/

6 RepliesThe Gameplay seems more akin to a very fine tuned Call of Duty.

6 Replieshaven't played it, but the gunplay is about as uninteresting as it can get imo. maybe i've just been spoiled by halo's anti-ads crusade but still.
-
Definitely doesn't feel like Halo 4.

12 RepliesNo, because Halo is fun. Destiny looks boring.
-
5 RepliesEdited by UnbannablePowder: 6/17/2014 5:42:38 AMNo, Destiny multiplayer looks like a LEGIT COD/Halo mix type game. Halo 4 was a fricking mess of a game with no real identity.

It's fuckin awesome

19 RepliesDestiny looks like shit. Halo tMCC will beat the hell out of it come Fall in population, and Activision will be losing quite a lot of shekels. Oh, and just because you don't get what you want out of what was already a shit-tier Halo game, you're passive aggressively calling the Halo community "bitchy". Please get over yourself. Nobody cares about this CoD-tier garbage besides the kiddies who play CoD, and just like Halo 4, they'll flock right back to CoD in the end.

It is strange as a lot of Marathon fans hated Halo, if a lot of Halo fans hate Destiny things have gone full circle. Personally I do not hate Destiny and I am looking forward to it, I do not hate 343i and I didn't hate Halo 4. I look forward to the MCC and Halo 5. There is a lot of in fighting within the Halo community where lots of people bitch about Reach and hate 343i's first attempt Halo 4 and say these games are for little kids, personally I think all the haters should stop bitching and grow up as they are the ones that are behaving like little children. Halo is here to stay and the future is bright as 343i have been listening to the fans who so badly wanted MCC, as they could not see past Halo 2 or 3. It's likely that true skill will be in Halo 5, armour abilities will be dropped so they can shut up bitching about that too. Maybe we will have to wait until the beta for confirmation but I will get all three as I have all the Halo games and have liked all of them and Destiny looks great. Instead of fighting each other we should get behind these developers and tell them what we do, don't like and hope they take our suggestions on board.

8 RepliesIt's amazing to see how many halo fans turned against destiny just because mcc was announced

1 Reply"Stuff you probably could have in Halo if the fanbase wasn't so ravenously bitchy" I'm glad that stuff isn't in Halo. It's good Destiny Multiplayer looks different from Halo, I want to have 2 games by bungie and the both not be the same. I looked at some videos,it looks fun as hell.
