... well since you can change your weapon at will, and you get a fair amount of heavy ammo when it spawns anyway, i think it could be feasible. some maps are horrible for sniping, and some maps are better, its the same mechanics, but the ammo is way to plentiful for a weapon of that caliber. in my opinion at least. and no, you wouldn't have to up the damage for it to work, machine guns aren't one hit kills,they're 5, minimum. just like most rifles. although i did get a few 4-shots with pulse and scout rifles. rockets are already close to being one-shot kills, so i doubt they'd add another
