We are at a turning point in gaming. For many people gaming brought friends together, I was one of those people. My friends and I used to come to my house every friday and we would battle in 4 player split screen. Then eventually online became popular and we drifted apart. While there were many more reasons to this happening the lack of a need to come together to play really killed our friendship. I think that is important to allow people to play together in the same room, because it creates a bond between friends that simply can not be had when playing online.
