no. You're missing the point.
There's no will here, because they don't want it, because they want to create a GOOD experience not a bad one.

There is a will. The 300+ people who want splitscreen. Adding splitscreen won't create BAD experience. It would EXPAND the experience to EVERYONE.

And that's the OTHER point I wrote about that you're glossing over. I don't WANT this experience expanded to everyone. I don't want the worlds in Destiny to be populated with every shmoe/n00b who thinks this is another dude-bro shooter. Filling Destiny with CoD ass-hats is going to ruin the experience for even the most solo-players.
