You spew all of this
yet have giving no solid evidence of how splitscreen would be bad for this game.

It's in the other threads, LOTS of other threads. Hell, you could actually google "The decline of split-screen gaming" and you would get all your answers. BUT YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE TRU7H. So even if I give it to you, it wouldn't matter. Which means I'm going to have a LOT more fun pointing out how you can't grasp concepts than I am actually trying to convince you otherwise. I KNOW. I'VE BEEN POSTING THE EVIDENCE IN THESE THREADS FOR MONTHS NOW.

Have you at least tried to promote splitscreen? Have you appealed to these companies for changes? You say that I don't CARE about the truth, well I do! But if you haven't NOTICED, 2 next gen consoles just came out!! 10X the processing power!! We are at the FOREFRONT of the future of gaming, and you're just going where the tide takes you. I go AGAINST the current, because I don't like where it's heading. And I'm NOT alone! The truth does matter. And so does taking the road not taken. You may be jolly fine with no splitscreen. But me and 200+ people are not.

Why would I promote splitscreen? I understand why it's a bad thing, why would I promote a bad thing? Do a simple google search, or forum search. Take yourself out of this little bubble you've created where 200 people agree with you. Realize that 10 times the power still makes things proportionate. You can push an engine 10times more now.. sure.. but if you do that to satisfy a split screen experience you either have to deliver 1/4th that experience to every user, or 1/4th of it to just those that would play splitscreen. Both are unacceptable bars of quality BECAUSE Destiny is NOT the shooter you think it is. Tethering players, guest accounts, people who in general value their time/character less than what someone who pays for the full experience does, ruin the experience of ALL players, not just someone using the splitscreen feature.

You reject the fact that not everyone is in a comfortable gaming spot like you are. You may be okay with no splitscreen. You have every entitlement to that. However, some people NEED splitscreen. So have fun being a single player. But just don't take it away from the splitscreeners.

Dude, you have a WHOLE THREAD.. IN THIS THREAD of other people telling you why it can't be implemented. Why it shouldn't be implemented. From the technical reasons to the balance ones. It's like you can't read or something.. it's weird.

They have next gen. They have half a billion dollars. I'd think they have the funds and technology to do it.

Even a half a billion dollars has to give way to: A.) technical limitations vs. time. B.) Something intangible, like game play experience. A - isn't possible no matter how much money you throw at it. B - isn't something you can assign a dollar value. Assuming you can do these things is your first mistake.

Mistakes are made when people don't use facts. The fact of the matter is, Bungie should add splitscreen to Destiny because it appeals to 70% of all gamers and would profit Bungie themselves. (I got the 70% from this poll, if you beg to differ get other people to vote too.)

The fact is, 100% of people in this poll could want the feature and it wouldn't change the factors I've listed above.

There is a will. The 300+ people who want splitscreen. Adding splitscreen won't create BAD experience. It would EXPAND the experience to EVERYONE.

And that's the OTHER point I wrote about that you're glossing over. I don't WANT this experience expanded to everyone. I don't want the worlds in Destiny to be populated with every shmoe/n00b who thinks this is another dude-bro shooter. Filling Destiny with CoD ass-hats is going to ruin the experience for even the most solo-players.
