So basically, you're telling us how to run our lives in order to have fun playing video games even though major gaming companies can easily rectify this situation while also gaining good publicity? Splitscreen is good for business, because it causes more people to want to play it. Companies GAIN money with splitscreen. So why not have it? For the new gaming experience? No matter what time we're in, splitscreen will always be a factor to a game's success. It's statistically proven. Titanfall would have done A LOT better with splitscreen. Halo did AMAZINGLY because it had splitscreen. Splitscreen enhances games. So why not have it?

 • I'm not telling anyone how to do anything, just providing solutions that are proven to work. Good publicity or not split-screen is never the defining factor of games. You base it off of the story, the online multiplayer, the graphics. Split screen is not even the first thing. Co-op is but that is mostly done online now.

 • So are you saying that MAJOR games like Halo, Borderlands 2, etc, would have gotten the SAME AMOUNT of profit, or even MORE profit, if they didn't have splitscreen?

 • Again I didn't say anything about profits. I'm talking about the game in of itself. When you rate a game you think: ok story/single-player was _______. The survival mode was ________. The Multiplayer/Online was _________. The Artwork was _________. Character development was ________. Score for said game ___/10 or ____/5 in that kind of criteria split-screen is seen as an extra feature. Not a core of the game.

 • Are you for or against splitscreen? And if against, why? Just answer that.

 • I'm neither for nor against it. I'm impartial since I do not use it. That said I'm not going to support something I do not use. But this does not make me against it. It'd be like voting in an election but choosing not to vote because both options do not suit what you need/do. Referring to my earlier post I do dislike when a split-screen person does DC because you lose 2 teammates. But this is not that large of a driving factor to hate this option.

 • Just think of it this way. Your vote of "yes" may very change this whole game. If Bungie does change it, wouldn't it be something revolutionary? You could be able to say that you even contributed to it! Your "yes" can cause the happiness of thousands, maybe millions of people. Your "yes" would also give Bungie more money, as they would gain more profit due to the people who want splitscreen. Nobody will cancel their preorder when they hear the splitscreen has been added. Bungie can only benefit by adding splitscreen. They can use that newfound money to make Destiny even BETTER, so in the long run, you would benefit too! So everyone wins!

 • Me having the option of a split screen still does not benefit me at all. If anything havering split screen cuts their total possible sales in half. Which could have been used for more DLC or in-game material. And as for this "revolution" idea it has no foundation. It could be looked more as a Revolt. You don't like what they make and demand they change it. That's not going to happen. Especially since alternatives are available. That being Online multiplayer. Yes Bungie does look at suggestions from portions of the community. They generally take things that are positive towards their own goals. However whiny demands over a small feature no longer available is better left alone. They have even stated that they are focused on multiplayer. And co-operative experience with other players. This may also be the reason to do away with split screen like my previous statements.

 • Games are MAJOR players BECAUSE of splitscreen!
If anything havering split screen cuts their total possible sales in half.
Tell me HOW that does it.

 • Let's say you and your brother both like the game. (Assuming you have a brother) You both love the game! But have one console. True only one of you can play it on THAT console. However. If you had/got another console and game then you just doubled their sales. Each person that could play split-screen on one console is a potential consumer or the game. It's basic math. Let's say 4 ppl are playing on one tv. That's 1+1+1+1. Each of those would be a POTENTIAL buyer of the game since they like it. If you have those 4 on 1 tv that makes it only 1 potential buy since there is split-screen. That simple enough? I'm not saying Bungie is greedy but they have also sunk a ton of cash in this game. If they could make 4x the money back it would ensure a sequel or prequel. Remember each employee that works for Bungie has a family as well with mouths to feed.

 • Think of it like this. There are 4 boys. Bobby, Charles, Mathew, and Jimmy. All like playing on 1 tv. However the game they wanted is single player. They can't afford to buy 3 more tvs, consoles, and disks. So they don't buy the game. The company just lost 1 potential buyer. Now, truth be known this dilemma happens much more than the 4 boys who buy 3 more tvs, consoles, and disks. So really, companies are LOSING money, because even though some give in, A LOT of people don't.

 • They only lost the potential 60$ there. In my case they have the possibility of making 240$ even in yours it's the same. It's +$240>-$60 so in that sense they will go with my option. Feelings have no price on them.
