The Destiny logo is called a tricorn. Why?

^This is a tricorn. I don't see any corn on there. Sure, it has 3 rounded ends, but not even a hint of anything to do with corn. I propose Bungie rename it to triround, or something that more closely describes what it actually looks like.

  • Tricorn comes from tri-corner, mainly used to describe the hat popular in the 17th&18th centuries - as worn by Captain Jack Sparrow. The tricorn symbol just has three 'corners', which admittedly are round. I'm hoping a tricorn hat will be a top tier unlockable helmet.
