Will Destiny have local coop/comp multiplayer aka split screen?
I'm generally concerned that Destiny won't have split screen. This is a big deal for me because I'm lucky enough to have a gamer for a wife. Alot of our free time is spent gaming because let's face it, its expensive to go out these days. $60 bucks and we've got months of fun.
However, since I've got my PS4 I haven't been seeing too many local multiplayer games. Warframe was a total disappointment when I found out my wife couldn't play along side me, and that game is only a co-op game. Weird. I know its great to have the screen to yourself (I love it too), but the majority of the time, games are a shared passion in my house. If Destiny winds up not having split screen and doesn't allow PS3 and PS4 to play nicely together, its looking like I'm going to need another PS4 and a new tv.... :( Enough about me, what do you think?

The truth is the gameplay of these matches isn't anything revolutionary or different. It looks polished. It looks TONs of fun (!!!). But it doesn't look like a huge leap from the Halo and COD multiplayer experiences we have already enjoy WITH SPLIT-SCREEN on older, less powerful consoles. With this in mind I am hoping strongly that at least 2 players can share a couch, a pizza, and an afternoon together in the Destiny universe. Beyond that I'm even hoping against hope (though it is HIGHLY unlikely) that there might also be a local 4 player split-screen experience for when my friends come over and want to reminisce over our shared memories of halo (1 and 2) and the hundreds of hours we enjoyed eating, drinking, playing together. But I digress.... See you star side!
