First day of snow. You know its coming but you're not sure when. Suddenly you awake to see your room just slightly a bit brighter than usual. Slowly creeping up to peek out my window I see flakes of snow adrift. Creeping further I see snow accumulated on the tree branches. As I start seeing ground I start to sweat. 1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet of snow. "GADDAMN IT WHY DIDN'T I GET THAT SNOW BLOWER ON SALE!" The rush is over. The excitement is quashed. The snowshovelling begins.

The coldness, snow. Nicer people.

It's not -blam!-ing hot like Florida.

I live in washington state. 1. Some of the best snowboarding out there. Also whistler is only a 4 hour drive for a great easy winter vaca. 2. It rains less often than most people think unless you live out by the olympics. 3.great fishing/hunting/hiking/camping/rafting/mudding/dirt fish if your into rally cars/river rafting/trails for motorcycles everywhere/dunes in e-wash for quads and buggies. So many activities to do. 4. Green. So very green. 5. Boating the puget sound. 6. Racism is much less rampent than most states overall. 7.as a whole most communities tend to a higher wage average so even those at the lower portion of income would be considered well off in most states. 8. Unless you live in tacoma you can pretty much walk anywhere at anytime and feel safe. 9.#seahawks. Thats just a little start for you guys. Also ive travelled all over the states and have family in about 20 different states and the general consensus is that washington is great. Colorado is a pretty close second though.
