I'm stuck with the family desktop until I build my own PC.
This thing has 8GB of RAM and an i7 Processor, yet it can barely run Minecraft at 15-20FPS. I'm not the most keen on PC's just yet, so someone tell me what I'm missing. I've been told that I should be flying, yet this thing is a pile of shit. Does it not have enough power? Do I just have a bad part?
EDIT: I've also tried playing Skyrim. At 'Low', I could only manage about 10-15 FPS.

Go get an AMD R9 270 or a GTX 660 http://www.amazon.com/Asus-GTX660-DC2O-2GD5-ASUS-Graphic-Cards/dp/B00919CI5Q/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1401559315&sr=8-3&keywords=GTX+660 http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Version-PCI-Express-Graphics-11220-00-20G/dp/B00I0D81OG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401559340&sr=8-1&keywords=r9+270 EDIT: I see you aren't using a tower computer, you're screwed.

1 ReplyThe lack of a GPU is really hindering your system. However, since you're on an All-In-One, you're kinda out of luck. As for minecraft, have you looked into Optifine yet?

You don't have a GPU. The GPU is pretty much the most important piece of hardware in a Gaming PC.

3 Replies> 2.8 Ghz That's bit great for a CPU. Also, the fact no graphics card is listed means you are running on an integrated GPU, which is shit unfortunately.
