You cannot force people to take a medicine, that's just straight up retarded. What ever happened to "it's my body argument?" But what we can do is make it to where it is an EXTREME inconvenience to not get one. They should not be able to go to public school or use a public walk in doctors office. Among other things I'm sure you could do.

  • What about pouring gasoline all over your body, lighting it up, and running into a crowded train station? You can do whatever you want to your body so long as its not harming anyone else.
It's my body.
No, it's everyone's bodies. Get it?

What that slippery slope there, it's very slippery. That would also not be illegal in any way until you harmed someone.

  •
What ever happened to "it's my body argument?"
It's not their well being I'm worried about, it's the well being of socially cohesive people I care about, they have more value to the species than a non-vaccinating individual. This is not a slippery slope issue either, since their actions could directly cause the death of another human, instead of just negatively affecting society in some small way.

  •
It's not their well being I'm worried about, it's the well being of socially cohesive people I care about, they have more value to the species than a non-vaccinating individual
If your gonna just start insulting people I'm done with this conversation. Technically abortion is the killing of another human being, directly affecting a others life by your decision. Now are people going to continue to be hypocrites? Yes. I'm not getting into my views on abortion, but you cannot force someone to do something to there body. That's just cruel to do. Which is why you make it an inconvenience to not get vaccinated.
Technically abortion is the killing of another human being, directly affecting a others life by your decision. Now are people going to continue to be hypocrites?
Because science has proven that a clump of cells has a soul. Not to mention that carrying a baby to term is a far cry from making an appointment with your doctor and getting a shot in the arm. But like you said, lets not go down that road.

  • Life begins at conception. That's not even arguable.
Life begins at conception. That's not even arguable.
Yes it is. When you say "life begins at conception" you're arguing that the moment the sperm hits the ovum, that cluster of cells is directly equatable to a human baby. It's not. It's alive. It's composed of human cells. But it's more equitable to a tree.

  •
Human cells
You said it right there. It's not equal to a human baby, where did I say that? But is it "human"? Yes it is. This is the stupidest argument to even try to argue.
It's not equal to a human baby, where did I say that?
That's the implication in saying that life begins at conception.
This is the stupidest argument to even try to argue.
So getting my appendix removed is equitable to murder?

  •
Technically abortion is the killing of another human being
Nope. Neurons don't make proper connections until about 4-5 months into the pregnancy, meaning no consciousness/being is present. Find another comparison?

  • It's still a human. That's not arguable. Now are you going to nitpick here?

  • Oh it's human alright, just not a being. So, please go get another argument, relating this to abortion is false.

  • You could make the same argument for mandatory blood and organ donation. Abortion is more religiously-tied than it is about saving the life a fetus.

  • Sauce? Or are you just bullshitting again. And blood donation does not kill the person donating.

  • What do you want a source for? Everything I said was my opinion.
And blood donation does not kill the person donating.
The relationship between abortion and mandatory blood and organ donations is the belief body sanctity can be violated in order to save a life.

  • So now we are talking about abortion to save a life?

  • I'm talking banning abortion to save a life... Or at least that's the belief people have. My point is that people aren't really interested in saving lives, because if they were they wouldn't hesitate to intrude upon body autonomy to save people via mandatory blood and organ donations. But the majority of pro-lifers are against those kinds of policies anyway. My conclusion is that abortion is more religiously-tied than it is about saving lives.

  • You cannot force people to give blood or donate organs, because it's there body. That's a horrible analogy.

  •
You cannot force people to give blood or donate organs, because it's there body.

You cannot prevent people from having an abortion, because it's there body.
It's a perfect analogy once you understand it (don't know why it's taking so many attempts for you, but I have patience).

  • Forcing someone to do something to there body is wrong. You can't do that. Try to go a little longer without insulting people Dustin, it will help you in life.

  • You should have the choice for abortion if your below a certain age or if the mother is at risk. Otherwise no.
