Not in this case. Titans deal alot of super damage(by super damage i mean the focuses) and take alot of damage. Warlock big giveout little take in. The hunter is equal

Wow not
-
Correct me if im wrong then.
-
My just shouting SpaceMagic!!!!!!!¡¡
-
Why so serious
-
You honestly think they would make one character do a lot and take alot of damage and make the others inferior?
-
-
Of corse, because as for guns they will be doing equal DPS across the board so boom, then take in to account that a Titan has stipulations on when it can unleash it's own super and I'm sure you'll see it makes sensee
-
Of corse, because as for guns they will be doing equal DPS across the board so boom,
are you so sure, being that we haven't played the game or seen skill trees on class specific items it's possible that some classes do more damage with specific guns.

Edited by Nitemare 43: 5/30/2014 2:44:22 AMI doubt that. They didn't want to add racial benefits because it was too much of an investment. Having certain classes use certain guns better ruins the whole idea behind every class using every weapons and is a pretty serious investment. It also hurts the idea of upgrading guns.
-
Edited by Jaeger: 5/30/2014 2:44:52 AMWe will see, I'd say since the hunter has a super that specifically uses revolvers/handguns it's very possible.
-
I already know.
-
Edited by Jaeger: 5/30/2014 2:46:17 AMoh so you helped develop the game
-
Nope. It's just a terrible decision that factually hurts the idea of all classes using all guns, being able to upgrade guns, hinders the amount of different play styles, and contradicts things they've said in the past. It's simply not gonna happen.
-
Like I said we will see, but I'm not going to continue a pointless argument about something neither of us could possibly know.
-
hahaha Hey If I'm wrong I'll eat my words. I"m 100% convinced to the contrary, though. So I guess we will see.
-
Weapon type based skills are completly possible and rational it wouldn't make a class too over powered with a specific gun type and all classes could use them just not be as strong with all types
-
Don't get me wrong it's not like I really disagree with you I'm merely stating possible outcomes based on lack of information.
-
I had a bit of an idea that's where you might have been coming from. I'm usually always on that stance, but for this I just ditched it entirely lol. Why? Pure faith in Bungie. E3 is right around the corner here so that's reassuring. Finally, something NEW to be seen and learned.
-
I know it's going to be nice to learn something substantial, at least I hope it will be.
-
They've held out WAY too much this far I think. They're lucky it's less than two weeks until E3. lol
-
-
Your right about that but that doesn't mean the Titan won't be getting any of those weapon buffs from their skill tree so DPS stays around the same, if the Titans supers require them to get in close to use them they will need the extra armor, think about it. A hunter gets a ranged three shot pistol, the warlock gets a ranged large aoe ability, the titans fist of havoc is a aoe ability but is required for then to be in melee range, you see why they need that extra armor well maintaining equal DPS?
-
The hunter also has a melee super
-
Force push super 2 from the warlock
-
It's a knife bro we can force push
