Bing's first result for Google Chrome is spam

http://www.bing.com/search?q=google+chrome&form=TMXHSB&mkt=en-us&scope=&pq=google+chrome&sc=8-0&sp=-1&qs=n&sk= Recently had to upgrade my OS, and in the process had to reinstall Chrome from IE. I stupidly clicked the first link in IE without really looking, and ended getting prompts to download shittons of spam programs. All this from googling "Google Chrome download". If that's not mildly interesting enough, I noticed that the same search result, still using Bing, but this time on Google Chrome, doesn't yield that. The browser itself either filters out the spam site, or IE purposefully makes the spam site appear, maybe as a way to deter people from changing browsers. The pic above is a direct comparison of Bing's results on both browsers. Anyways, thought you guys would find this kinda interesting. If not, leave a cat gif on your way out.

 • I gave Bing a try long ago because of the rewards, but it's pretty meh. Google is best for simplicity; Ixquick is best for privacy. Bing isn't the worst search engine, but it's just kind of... ...there. Google > Ixquick > Yahoo > Bing > Any other search engine > -blam!-ing a cactus > Scour/other virus engines
