Why do people pick Warlock over the Titan?
Why dont people like the titan. In my opinion the warlock doesnt seem strong. [b][u]Note: i said in [i]my opinion. [/i][/u][/b]The titan will get in your face and punch it. I will [b]shoulder bardge[/b] you in the balls. My titan will live by one rule. [i]When reason doesnt work, use brute force. [/i] [b]# Titan[/b] This post is to see what people like in the Warlock. Im not dissing the class. I like the class it seems cool. I just want to know why. [spoiler]and hunters unless you have some good points to make. Just read and go. Dont respond with follish comments. I like the Warlock for a few reasons. 1) Fastest hp regen. ( all classes have the same time delay for hp regen but the Warlock will hp regen faster then the rest ) 2) Melee is a knock back as well as a face palm. 3) Warlock as the best mid air control as well as a glide instead of a double jump. 4) Warlock has a buff sub class as well as a revive for super. The rest are cool but i plan on using the Warlock as my main 100%.

Well I love magic and the skills along with the warlock and I've looked through It's class tree and I am going to be a tank warlock has a huge armor rating if u go full on armor paired with a small regeneration and decent speed warlock is beast plus the super is a void blast u can get range with

I'm rolling both (well, all three, eventually). I intend for my Titan to be my main because I absolutely fell in love with the class during the beta and I foresee it as a key class to have in most content. I want a Warlock mainly for PvP because I feel Voidwalkers are so strong with their area denial abilities, especially for objective-based games.

I wanted to like the Titan but I cannot stand the punch animation. I don't know what it is but I cringe every time I melee as a titan.

The warlock will use the power of the purple ball on you and your friends. The warlock will use the force on your head. The warlock will attract you into his grenade. Go back to wearing a skirt Titan.

Personal preference, doesnt mean they hate the using the titan.

10 RepliesYes, we are weak. But we're powerful. We are the definition of glass cannons. I can't take a single hit from Sepiks Prime without dying, but I knock off a twentieth of its health every time I hit it with my 'nade and a solid tenth when I nova bomb it. Glide is far better than a simple double or rocket jump, and have you heard about Blink? Yea, us high level Warlocks can teleport! Additionally, trench coats :3

I like the challenge on hard with light armor. Plus you gotta use the old brain to out think the enemy not just smash your way through and the nova bomb is awesome.

I played mostly as a Warlock, though I did try out the other two as well. Personally, I just found the Warlock [i]more fun[/i]. So that's why I'm going to play Warlock, I don't care if it's underpowered I have a blast playing the class.

Intelligence. Not very smart flinging yourself headfirst into the ground when you can cause the same devastation while you calmly glide above it smiling.

1 ReplyMy reason has to do with trying all three and determining I had more fun playing as a warlock than I did as a titan or hunter.

In every RPG game that has classes I always pick the glass cannon/ squishy DPS. In destiny I truly see no real difference in classes other than personal preference espically in PVP because all defense and health are balanced. The warlock has a pretty badass super, probably the best utility grenade (vortex because it can close off entire hallways or doors), and has a strong pretty long range melee right off the bat. The titan does have some of the coolest armor sets in the game though.

4 RepliesTitans have to get real close in order to use their Super ability, but the Warlock has Nova Bomb, which can be used at a safe distance, and can be upgraded to seek enemy targets, or split into three projectile, among other things. Also, the Warlock looks pretty badass in those robes.

I picked warlock for the mobility and recovery speed. I like to play fast and I can't wait to see blink in action.
