Imagine that strike mission more as a dungeon...
The game isn't entirely open world though, you will fast travel to large explorable areas, which are then riddled with dungeons and secrets to seek out.

I hope that's kinda what it's like. How big do you think the open areas are gonna be compared to say Skyrim or Borderlands 2?

I never played borderlands but I doubt the open areas will be as large as the entire skyrim map, they'll probably be pretty expansive...
