Internet speeds are so much better now that it's pointless for them to include the discs. You can download a demo for most brand name ISPs in under an hour.

Really? It took me about 3 hours to download Halo Spartan Assault demo....
-
Is Sky your ISP?
-
-
lel Sky are shit. Get BT Infinity
-
Can't.
-
Tell your parents to switch.
-
I live in a rural area. I can't get any better.
-
I know that feeling ;_;
-
Get good scrub.
-
What are your internet speeds?
-
215.6 kb/s DL 64.1 kb/s UL 103 m/s ping
-
Wow, that's pretty rough my friend... You may want to look into getting that upgraded before Destiny is released. Even basic connections are around 5 mbps which literally about 20x faster than what you have. Do you live in a rural area I'm guessing?
-
Yeah. Very rural. Though I'm probably not getting Destiny. I'm unable to get fibre optic due to my location.
-
I have some family in rural areas, so I can understand where you're coming from. :(
-
Ouch :(
-
That's bad, isn't it?
-
I have Comcast blast and I still get pretty bad internet speeds. Still good enough to DL demos in around 30 min or less. The point is, I'm not going to DL demos for games that don't look all that appealing to me, but I'd try them out if they were on a disc and I could instantly play them. That's what I liked about OXM demo disc's.

It's all about cutting costs sadly. They most likely did it to save money.
-
In return, they lost my $10 a month. The last issued I bought, was this one....
-
"Best Halo ever" LOL!
-
I bought that one too. Wasn't my last though.
-
Well that is a fantastic issue to go out on. :)
