Is this how a community should act?

Is any one else disturbed at the way the community is reacting to the loss of Marty? It's a big deal, it's serious, there's major money at stake... I get it. But it feels like the community is ready to start a riot against Bungie over this. I won't say Bungie has never made a bad decision, but I will say they have never made a quick one. If you believe they fired Marty with no cause you're crazy (and no, Bungie doesn't owe us any details on anything, it's an internal business matter and we're not internal). If you want to break all your Halo discs and merch and then cancel your preorder for Destiny you're acting like a spoiled child. This is the best community in the world, can we act like it please?

 • You make a valid point that we are not "entitled" to any answer, but this is a company that prides itself on clear and considerate communication with its fans. We need to hold them to a higher standard that is, in this day and age, dwindling. By not responding, they are creating undue worry in the community much like the people at Oculus Rift were generating when they failed to communicate properly with their own community. (I don't want to start this argument, just making a company-to-company reference.) If we simply let something like this slide, we are encouraging them to go behind our backs even more. We, the community, do not want this beloved company to become another EA. It is entirely possible, so please do not try and refute it. In the end, companies exist to make money. That being said, many of the most profitable are fueled by their dedicated, loyal followers. I'd rather see our Bungie stay along the path of Valve and Mojang instead of along the trail of EA, or 343i (Microsoft). ((NOTE: Please do not comment on any of the "personal" opinions of mine. If you have a comment not related to Bungie, please direct it towards me in a personal message, not through this comment thread. Thank you if you have read this far.))
