Do you think destiny is going to be more popular on xbox or ps4? Is there a difference in frame rate and graphics or is it all around the same
-
3 RepliesPS4 is the more owned console, Destiny has more preorders on PS4 PS4 is more powerful which is good for a game like Destiny BUNGIE is favouring Destiny for the PS4 (DLC etc. comes out earlier)
-
2 RepliesPs4 is going to be more anticipated. More popularity and better framerate
-
4 RepliesEdited by Jarac Rassen: 4/23/2014 12:43:27 PMPS4 has more pre-orders for Destiny, a larger install base, and with the early beta and exclusive/early release content, it's not hard to see why. I've got it pre-ordered for my PS4 and can't wait for the Beta!

1 ReplyN64 FTW!
-
I'd be more interested in the ps4 version. Microsoft just kinda feels dirty now.
-
I would say ps4 because bungie partnered with them for Destiny
-
It doesn't matter what console will be more popular. What is important is we will all enjoy playing Destiny regardless of platform. We can be civil and play in different consoles. The war tends to bring out the worst in people which is a bummer. Happy times ahead!!

2 RepliesI think there is more hype from the Xbox side, only because of the past experience with Bungie. I don't know many Play Station owners who have said they're looking forward to it (I don't know many Play Station gamers who play any other games than fifa, cod, battlefield and assassin's creed though). But there have been the ones who ditched the Xbox One for the PS4. My general assumption is that the Xbox gamers cannot wait whereas the Play Station gamers are only 'looking forward' to it.

Destiny is destiny. Why would one system want it more than the other?
I don't pick a side.
-
1 ReplyI honestly think it will be about even between the two. And I figure the only graphical difference will be the resolution.
-
PS4 global vote for destiny

How can there be more anticipation for xbox one destiny than ps4 destiny? I anticipate the game not that console. I don't get off on purchasing the game for a particular system and gameplay will be identical
-
Screw anticipation. I'm getting Destiny for whatever console I'm happy with.

2 RepliesThe game will be most hyped on PS4. It is Bungies' first game on a SONY console... that alone is a huge milestone. Thinking about the current sold to consumer numbers... the larger install base is on playstation.... not to mention the timed exclusives and incentives to play on playstation. Looking at consoles, this is going to be the main game for PS4.... x box has other games witch will help it, like Halo and GoW, however far away they will be.
-
I personally think it will be more hyped for the PS4 much like CoD is for the Xbox due to the content being released first on the PS. I have a PS4 just collecting dust since all the games do suck ass atm (Cept maybe Infamous but not a game for me) waiting for Destiny beta to drop!
-
I'd say PS4. Sony never had a Bungie game. This is history for Sony.
-
1 ReplyFrom what I understand PS4 is out selling XB1 by a good margin. If that stays that way, that makes a larger population base for PS4.
-
Edited by H0RSE: 4/8/2014 6:58:23 AMI think it may do better on PS4, simply due to more PS4's being out there vs X1. As for which console the games community will have better longevity? I don't know. In either context, the term "popular" can apply.

6 RepliesXbox 1
best for more people
I think this will be more popular on PS4 despite personally going for XboxOne

1 ReplyEdited by BearCat: 4/7/2014 10:32:37 AMPS4, earlier beta and usually its easier for game companies to do 60fps on PS4. Most 3rd party games for next gen have been 60fps on the PS4 and lower for the Xbox One. It doesn't really make that much of a difference though. PS4 will also having sharing and utilization of the touch pad. No big deal.
-
Ps4 most definitely
-
So far there are more pre-orders for Destiny on the PS4 than the X1. Although that is due to larger player base on the PS4 currently.
-
http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders/ right now the ps4 has more 30,000 pre-orders. not a huge difference. in terms of graphics, if what has happen so far is of any indication, i expect the ps4 version to be better in frame rate and graphics overall. because so far all games that have released on both consoles have had consistently better performance on the ps4.
