Why do you think Destiny is called Destiny
So for all the games I can think of by Bungie they all have their name for a reason. Halo was called that because of the halos, marathon was called this because of the marathon ship. But why it's Destiny called Destiny? It is completely possible that they just thought the name sounded cool but I just want to know if your guys think there's a reason for it. [spoiler]I know these aren't the only Bungie games[/spoiler]
Edit: What I meant was is there a noun called Destiny that is a central story point. But I agree with the people who say it's because we have to seize our Destiny and become legend and that's probably it.

1 ReplyI would like to point out that "seizing our destiny" has been a theme in most if not all of Bungies games. So it is fitting that Bungies new and greatest adventure would capitalize on this theme.

I do hope they name something Destiny in the story making it a vital part of the story. Edit: another crazy idea, Destiny could be the portals the vex come through or have something to do with them
