Alrighty, Flood, let's talk about what your absolute perfect vacation would be like. You can do anything you've ever dreamed of; for a limited time of course.
My perfect vacation would be two weeks in Park City, Utah, being able to stay in a hotel right next to the mountain and snowboard every day.

Hell.
-
Sochi Russia. Putin will show you how to love the motherland.
-
A one month stay at the best ski/snowboard resort. I'm too lazy to find out exactly which one that is.
-
A place up north with lots of snow. It would not be too cold, but not warm at all. Just the right temperature. Also, it would be right on a ski resort. I would just spend my time either in the hot tub or skiing on the mountain.
-
Aincrad. What a "great" two year vacation.
In eight years, I'll just check myself into the hospital with the nerve gear in hand...
-
MMR. Wait, what? I thought you said vaccination...
-
Snowboarding in the Alaskan back country. Or on a beach in the Caribbean with my wife.
-
Four days on a beach with a margarita, a hot chick, and a guitar in my hand

Edited by Coin: 3/4/2014 10:11:03 PMI like camping a lot. Not really anywhere in particular, just as long as it's away from the rest of society. Although, camping in a beautiful scenery makes it all more worth the while.

Fiji with Danielle sounds like a damn good time. The seafood. The exploration. Oh man... in another life, I was very content.
-
It take me like an hour to get to Park City. Mine would be to spend two weeks in Fort Bragg, CA. I would spend a week camping in MacKerricher and my next week in the Lodging and Llamas hotels. I'd spend a day horse back riding and another at the brewery.

Quiet, no people around save for a few amenities/shops, cold and mountainy. Like a log cabin in Alaska or something like that. Or perhaps to do the same in northern Japan, but I still can't read enough Kanji to really get by outside of places like Tokyo without a guide.

Something awesome like a fly-in fishing trip or snowmobiling through the Eastern Townships. Could ride to Valcourt and see the Skidoo factory.

So far my perfect vacation was when Mrs Charlie and I went to Thailand for the first time. We spent a few days in Bangkok, then a few up north in Chian Mai. Then back to Bangkok for a night, and then overland to Siem Reap Cambodia for 3 days. Then we took a boat to Phnom Penh for a few days and then to Saigon for the rest. While we were in Chian Mai we took a small boat trip to the Golden Triangle and ended up for a few hours in Laos and Burma. Awesome, awesome trip.

LIVING FOR 6 MONTHS IN A HOUSE ON THE SIDE OF A LARGE HILL IN THE SCOTLAND COUNTRYSIDE. GET OUT MY TELESCOPE EVERY NIGHT AND WATCH THE STARS. IN FACT, IF IT HAPPENED RIGHT NOW I COULD WATCH JUPITER GO ACROSS THE SKY, AND BY THE END I WOULD BE ABLE TO WATCH MARS AS WELL.
