Dose bungie hate MLG?
I personally am a huge MLG fan because to me its sets the true level of skill. All the stupid camping/overpowered weapons are taken out (except for objective games) and it seems that every time we ask for an MLG game type we get a huge F|_|CK YOU from bungie. Doesn't MLG advertise for you? Come to think of it I know a number of people who start playing halo just because of MLG and the "dream" of becoming pro. So please tell me Bungie whats with the hate?

[/quote] MLG is played to make money, it is not supposed to be fun (though it is, that's not the goal) the day someone can make $10,000 by having mad warthog skillz, or mad mauler skillz.. then come talk about which has more skill, matchmaking or MLG. i play both, infact i have 3400 warthog turret kills, so you know i like vehicles as well.. but they [b]do not[/b] belong in competitive play, anyone who thinks that they do is delusional as for bungie hating MLG.. i see no reason to think they do, aside from a few gametype screwups (no touch return and emergency spawns are the only ones that come to mind) they have gone out of their way to give us forge, which has the ability to bring a competitive edge to every single map, no matter how dumb the map is.. they have gone out of their way to make the game more customizable AND they have given us hardcore just because hardcore isn't a carbon copy of MLG rules doesn't mean that bungie wants nothing to do with MLG, custom games have always been where it's at.. hardcore is just for fun, to screw around, customs is where you really should be practicing anyway bungie seems to be the only people here who [b]don't[/b] hate MLG

I'm starting not to like MLG. I know they aren't all like this, but the ones I have heard on here, including the OP, sound like arrogant -blams!- who think just because they are (or claim) to be MLG they should always have first priority. We get it. You play video games for a living. That doesn't mean Bungie should bow do to you, wine you, dine you and take your order. Get over yourself OP.

What's with the hate? Seriously. Now I have to ban the OP because he couldn't follow the rules. But someone is going to think that I did it because of some perceived MLG animosity. That is not the case. Bungie doesn't hate MLG. No more than Dodge hates NASCAR. In other words, they don't. But I DO hate people who break their promises. We all promised when we became members to follow the rules of the site. The OP is breaking that promise (by bypassing the profanity filter). So I didn't do this because I hate you and MLG. I did this because you're a jerk. Which incidentally gives MLG a bad name. WTG.

If I got the Halo logo tatooed to my arse, I don't think I'd be seeing a BrokenNinja gametype where you have to kill a player by pointing and shouting BOOM down your mic. Bungie doesn't hate MLG at all. They added BR starts to matchmaking AND Team Hardcore. That's more than a lot of the non-MLG players wanted. :P Bungie staff have been to numerous MLG events, talked with the players, etc. I think the only thing Bungie really doesn't like about MLG is: a) It's not how most of them like to play Halo, but that's completely opinion. b) Most of the MLG guys can be real jerks to other people. Of course, that's more just people in general and goes to an individual level.

Red vs Blue advertises Halo, too. And there are a good amount of people out there who want to become good machinema makers. Let's make a playlist where you start with no HUD and all you do is make films together! Ok I'm done. But Bungie and MLG are in good standings with each other. There is no hate. Plus Team Hardcore is coming out today/tomorrow.

Bungie doesnt hate MLG, also you think its easy to make a new playlist in matchmaking? they need to code all for your halo 3 game, plus add and put the right things in the playlist plus maybe tell Xbox live about the new playlist and lot more, takes time to make/put a new playlist guys.

I dont know that i agree with that. Is MLG good at vehicles? Oh, wait. They dont use vehicles. And anyone who says vehicles arent important to halo is an idiot. Is MLG settings what most people play with? No. Why should we say that MLG sets the standard for Halo when they dont even play the standard game of Halo? They dont use maulers, noob combos, power drains, ghosts etc. All these things add challenging elements to gameplay that a good player will encounter and be able to adjust to and compensate for and come out on top. I may not be MLG, but i sure am glad that the Halo I play involves all those fun elements; some idiot camping at a lift on Construct with a flame thrower. Some moron going on a killing frenzy with a ghost on Snowbound. A noob ripping a turrret off it's stand on The Pit and wiping out an entire team.
