I usually do. Generally, if a game has a low metascore, like below 70, it's probably pretty mediocre, but if it's in the high 80 or 90, it's probably good, even if it's not your type of game.

70 is an A on an Exam? A 90 is an A on my exams. Lucky you. Anyways, go to metacritic and look at the games that scored in the low 70s or even lower, they're usually pretty trash.

Down here, 90s is an A, 80s a B, 70s a C, 60s a D, and everything else below is an F. I honestly don't think you have been exposed to that, so take that as a cure for your ignorance.

It was almost always: > Go to hub "town" in center of the map > Get mission to kill nameless adversary at an area far away (this by the way does not move the plot along in any meaningful way) > Drive for 5 minutes to said far away area > Spend 10 minutes killing said enemy (sometimes shorter than that) > Rinse and repeat Don't get me wrong, there was some fun to be had in Far Cry 2, but it became very repetitive, and the over abundance of rust/brown didn't help.
