Looks great. But is this an actual part of the lore?

It seems like the only lore-friendly aspect to the game is Gondor's vigilance over Mordor before Sauron's return. As for the half-wraith aspect, that's really pushing it.

Yeah, that's totally pushing it. A guy with that type power would probably be the most powerful being in all of Middle earth.

  • I just wanted to see Monolith's attention to detail. Judging from your post, I'd say little. How much you want to bet that the protagonist will almost defeat Sauron in the final boss fight? I can almost guarantee that Sauron will be on the brink of losing but will suddenly kill the protagonist.

I mean the whole half man-half wraith thing is pretty cool for gameplay purposes but I would take the story of this game with a grain of Salt. Also wouldn't a man with that type of power be like one of the most powerful people in all of Middle earth and yes I do believe that the protagonist fighting Sauron could be a possibility. It also doesnt help that his son hated the films and basically hates everything associated with the IP that wasn't created by him or his father. In fact, Warner Bro. Has already been sued by the Tolkien estate.
