I love pissing off aggressive drivers

Brace yourselves, you're about to get an in-depth look into the inner pleasures of yours truly. Seriously, I find extreme pleasure in: Pissing off aggressive drivers If you're one of these people, go ahead, say I'm an asshole and I should get off the road. I would if it wasn't so -blam!-ing hilarious watching them zoom around and tailgate people. When there's an asshole tailgating me, I like to slow down and drive with the car next to me in the other lane so he's forced to drive the speed limit/not 80 in a 45. This causes their heads to explode in a massive hissy fit and it's quite hilarious watching them freak out over absolutely nothing. Also, when there's a red light ahead, I like to let off the accelerator and let my car coast to the light, because why should I speed if I'm just going to stop anyway? It's not like I'm saving any time, but it feels like a lot of people think that. And whenever somebody is tailgating me for miles, switches lanes, and speeds up only to stop at the light, I casually pull up next to them and just stare with a dumbfounded face. This also pisses them off. So, who's the worse one here: drivers like me, or aggressive assholes?

  • K, then this guy will kill you, cause road rage. I won't say I don't get antagonized because of aggressive drivers, but you never know who is behind the wheel in that car. It is not worth it.

  • I don't care how others drive, I just drive in a safe but not slow manner. I follow the speed limit but am at that speed limit. If someone tries tailgating I just keep going as normal, if they pass good, if not and we get in an accident it's their fault (I'm a young guy who normally doesn't drive others so I don't really worry about other people getting hurt and don't imagine I'll get hurt or have any lasting damage from a fender bender)

  • I don't enjoy when people drive under the speed limit just to spite me for want wanting to go fast. I'm like Ricky Bobby I have a need for speed

Aggressive drivers suck, yes, but you're also making the roads just as dangerous as they are for driving with an ulterior motive. You aren't being an asshole, just stupid. Both are equally bad.

        • Hate to admit it but, I do that as well. I know it's dangerous so I've tried to cut back on doing that.
But it feels so good doing it.
• People tailgate for one of two reasons: Either they are assholes, and are trying to pressure someone ahead of them to speed up, Or they're just airheads that don't take driving seriously enough.

        • Sometimes people have a good reason for speeding. I don't endorse it in any way, but sometimes people might be late for something really important or their one of their family members might be in the hospital dying or something. I don't just automatically assume that those types of people are doing it to be ass holes, but I'm sure there are a few out there who do. I can tolerate speeding so long as they're not driving in a manner that puts my life and the lives of those around me in danger. If they're putting my life in danger, then you sure bet I'll try to piss them off, but just simply speeding isn't enough to do it. I'm not the freaking police.

          • That's okay, I'd make a great tailgater for you in my 78 Itasca. See, the old beasty has a loose manifold, and she likes to rumble, LOUD. And she's slow like a tank. With me hanging around on your backside for a few minutes, I'd think you might speed up instead. Funny enough, gotta funny story to tell. There's a nice young lad who drives around town, and likes to rev his engine big time. Makes a hell of a lot of noise. Did that to me and the rest of the crew I was working with at 6 o'clock in the morning. Not something you'd like to hear at that hour in construction. So a few weeks, I roll up into town in my old beast, and get caught in town rush hour, and end up sitting in traffic for a little while. And who should I end up right behind? Let's just say, the manifold roars the loudest when idle.

            • I like going at agressive drivers too except I have different methods: The horn The golden rule treatment I use the horn alot but if someone is an extreme jackass then I'll do what they did to me. Also if you cut me off and don't speed up, I'm tailgating you.

                  • I rarely encounter aggressive drivers. Most of the time its just some other person coming up to an intersection at the same time as I do and neither of us move for what feels like a solid 20 seconds.

                  • I did the "link up with the driver beside you" thing on I-76 in PA once. Somehow we both linked up and were waving at each other and stuff. Sadly he had to get off before we hit Ohio. I got a nice bird flipped at me though, as the guy we were screwing with went around me back to doing around 85-90. Sadly I didn't see him in front of a trooper on the side of the road later in Ohio.

                  • I used to, but I've stopped. I focus on the road and the cars around me more rather than prioritizing/planning how to piss other people off even if they're being aggressive. The most I'll do anymore is slow down a little bit if they're tailgating me, but I don't want to risk causing a wreck just to get back at someone rustling my jimmies, even if the wreck would most likely be their fault.

I hate it when you merge into a lane, and the asshole behind likes to fly by, to merge ahead, slowing down everyone behind. So when i merge, i put just my two wheels over, and drive until there is no lane left. Try to pass me? Sudden swerve towards them, reasoning, i saw a -blam!-ing cat, im sorry that you were illegally passing on the shoulder, in a merging lane and nailed a concrete divider, shouldn't have been doing that though. I have had two people, in slow traffic get out like they are going to do something, then when they get up and see my CCW on my passenger seat, they quietly turn around and -blam!- off. Hirrarious.

                        • One time, when a friend from my old job was giving me a ride, we came across an angry driver. He must've been doing about 20 in a 50 zone. Why? Who knows. With no way of passing him, my friend used the horn, a bit impatient. Whoever this man was, he stopped in the middle of the road, got out, and gave my friend the ugliest verbal assault I've ever heard in my life. Ever since that moment, I've tried my best to avoid road rage as much as possible, lest I get caught up in something like that again. Just thinking about it makes me uneasy.

                          • There's a lot of horrible drivers at my college. The most common thing I see is a modded 90's or early 00's Honda Civic with a big ass spoiler and a loud exhaust. It's annoying.
