Can You Guys STOP teasing us and LET US PLAY THE BETA! Im pretty sure I speak for every gamer out there who is just waiting on something new so we dont have to play the same old games like cod and bf4. Release the beta so we can be HAPPY!

Actually, Id rather wait and let them take good care of this game and make sure its a real gem. I've got other games to play coming up.

I do know the difference. Do you? What good would rushing the game into a public beta do? They probably are nowhere near ready network-wise to handle what we could throw at them. On top of that, most people here just want to play the game and would doubtfully help report bugs and such. That's usually how public betas go. So relax, my statement was correct and had everything to do with the beta as well as the launch version.

Technically yes. But with the amount of PR orders put up, its population will be similar to that of a public beta. Main purpose is to stress test.

If you cant get in it, without getting a code then its a private.

Availability of codes does not dictate a closed or open beta. Getting an invite to be a beta tester, or applying and getting chosen means it is a closed beta. Seeing as how anyone who pre-orders Destiny will receive an access code means it is an open beta. Dispite our differences, lets call it an Open-Closed beta.

It is a closed, because you have to pre-order to guarantee a spot, and they will send out invites later.
