Halo 2 1st level stuck on elevator
What do you do when the elevator stops on the first level while you are looking for the bomb

hey davey, i thought it was a glitch cause i just ran through the first mission myself and the door opened as soon as i walked into that room. Makes sense cause we were splitting up looking for the exit to that room we never both actually went infront of that door...sweet, get to keep progressing :)

hey how long did it take you to reach the 2nd level. im thinking this game is going way too fast, and you cant even tell where one level starts and the other ends. i mean in halo 1 1 level=unique scenery in halo 2 3 levels= same scenery .

Which Elevator? the huge on that goes down on a 45 degree angle or the final one to get to the room with the bomb? cuz if it's the last one you might want to try the door you came in but if it's the large one I dunno what your problem is sorry

Hey buddy, just found the trick. Both of you have to be in the room at the bottom of the elevator to trigger the door behind you to close and go into a cut scene. They should have just had you pop into the room when one person enters. Lame!

hey davey, yea im playing 2 player co-op with gf and we have been stuck here for 2 hours. hope its not a glitch

Question, are you playing this in 2 player co-op, because my daughter and I are having the same problem. Another poster in TeamXbox claims that the door at the bottom of the elevator opens up, but it only worked for him in single player. If there is not a workaround for this, this is completely lame!!!!!

how do you click the switch? their is a switch with a hand symbol on it on the platform but ive tried to hit it and i cant.

ive heard there is a glitch where a door that is supposed to open doesnt! good luck figuring it out

what door? Is it the big door at the very end once the platform lowers you down?

I just called my friendf about that. he said that it is right in your face as soon as you come out of the door. (I have yet to try this, but that's just what he said)
