Receiving ordered items through the mail.

I'm going to pre-order something later today, and the item in question should come from the same state as me, I would hope, so in that case, the estimate arrival for the item is a week max from the day the item comes out, and I'm wanting to get my hands on it as soon as possible. Does it make sense for the item to take a full week from when it's released to get to me? Or is that Estimate just a min/max possibility, when in actuality, it should only take like a day after it comes out to get to me? I'm curious.

  • It will take the standard shipping time. From south FL, of you were to ship a box to NY, it would cost you less than to ship the same box down the street. The reason for this is that the package goes to a central processing center, and then to its destination. Since NY has morebbusiness, there are more planes trains and trucks headed there, so it is more convenient for the shipping company to sent it up there. There is less demand to ship down to south Florida, so the package has to be sent back down at press convenience and higher expense.

  • It's a general estimate. Depending on where your ordering from, the amount of demand for the items, and means of shipping, your results may vary.
