READ THIS BEFORE VOTING Okay, every forum I go to I find different answers. It would seem that the general reception of Halo 4 was negative. However, I have found many different threads where the trend is the opposite, where people liked it. In my opinion, I liked the story that 343i painted in the main campaign. It will be a nice segway into Halo 5, I think. However, Spartan Ops was a weak and unnecessary replacement for Firefight. Seeing as how this was 343i first ever game made without being able to use Bungie as an asset, I say they did a good job. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. It was a game all fans had been anticipating since they finished the fight in Halo 3. The hype was sky-high. Nothing 343i or Bungie could've produced would've lived up to our expectations. They did do a lot of positives though. They made a tremendous visual leap on 7 year old hardware. They brought back the BR. Does Halo 4 really deserve all of the negative comments and reviews it recieves?

  • Yes, it does deserve the negativity the game came out unfinished and the people who "actually liked it" either are taking up the arse or they wouldn't know a quality game if it came up and bit them. This whole lets push the game out the door before polishing it first is a trend well known with companies like EA, Infinity Ward, Treyarch and now 343i.
