There is one problem i've been having with these maps. it never picks them to play on xboxlive. i've played enough, and it hasn't shown any odf these maps as an option once. and I know that its not my xbox, because i use them alot with system link. but standof is amazing anyway. I hope they come out with another map pack soon.

[/quote] Sarcastic? never. More like brutally honest. Ive never had 15 of my "friends" online at once, and if anyone is about to post saying "NAH UHHH I HAVE!" then okay i agree, and add me just in case 1 is missing so I can play with that many people at once. Besides Matchmaking in BtB, 16 player games are very hard to come by.

Rats Nest is amazing. A great tip for that map: instead of jumping in a warthog or running for rockets, go for the hammer. Sit near the main back entrance (facing the Parked Pelican) and wait patiently for those angry warthogs. Theres nothing better than coming out of the back door and slamming a warthog filled with 3 people flying off the edge to their death. I used this method at the start of a match, sent 2 warthogs flying off the cliff, 5 kills. something different, and totally unexpected. Im sure bungie planned this, and thats just friggin genius.

from what i played from the new maps, i thought they were pretty good. but if i had to make suggestion to Bungie, but wait, rewind. Does any one remember in Halo: Combat Evolved that one level: Truth and Reconciliation? That was the only level that made me think, hey i really think if Bungie will come out with those maps coming out in spring, they should add a "night" level. This would (i think) add a nice touch to multiplayer. any thoughts?

However if you are under the age of 18 and your Windows Live ID states that you are such age then you will not be allowed to download them.

Yeah these new maps have not come up on team slayer and this is very irritating. The first night I matched up in the maps and now I can't seem to match into the new maps.

Am I the only one who doesn't really like Standoff? The other maps are delicious though. I wasted about three hours today playing different versions of foundry. Quite fun.

Foundry was a necessity. Forge was unfinished without out. Standoff will, ten years from now, win the award for best multiplayer map in the universe ever. Rat's Nest stirs deep emotions in me, I hope to unravel its mysteries. [Edited on 12.13.2007 7:35 PM PST]

Standoff is the best map you have ever made! And the sniper was left out because it would be way too one sided with it on such an open ended map. All the other power weapons have draw backs on this map. Both the turret's and the Warthog leave you very vulnerable to the Spartan Laser. And the Spartan Laser is probably going to be hunted down by both teams and is a slow shooter. A sniper would have no real weakness and a whole lot of power. BR's are perfect for this level.
