Or should I say, more nuts.
I've always known Glenn Beck was crazy. According to him, Climate Change is a Liberal conspiracy created to destroy Capitalism, and Agenda 21 is an Orwellian plot to rule our lives. That's totally nuts, sure, but it actually doesn't end there.
I was listening to his radio show earlier, and he is now targeting Google. Alongside the privacy issues that most Conservatives complain about, Beck insists that the reason Google bought so many robotic companies recently is because they intend to utilize robots in an uprising against the current "status quo".
On top of that, Beck insists that Google is acquiring as many different services and products (i.e. automatic thermostats) as possible in order to surveil every aspect of our lives, and even possibly use that information to blackmail government officials into doing their bidding.
Holy shit. Discuss.

I watched his show this morning, and what struck me was his reference to the "Military Industrial Complex" Eisenhower warned about. Google is more and more involved with the government and developing tools that could easily be used by gov't to curtail freedom. This is what worries me. - Der

If our eventual robot overlords come from Google, I'm gonna be pissed. How the hell do you express terror in a regime with a name like Google? "THE GOOGLEBOTS ARE COMING! THE GOOGLEBOTS ARE COMING!" SMH.. just disgraceful.

1 ReplyIt would be fucking hilarious if he turns out to be right.

1 ReplyI know someone that seriously listens and believes what he says, all attempts to point out how insane Glenn Beck is have failed, I have no idea what to do.

I read Agenda 21, and I thought it was an excellent book. While it was slightly over-the-top at times (in terms of how far the government goes), the plot isn't all that ridiculous.

1 ReplyEdited by Lord Decitron: 1/14/2014 8:24:19 PMMan, I WISH someone would amass a robot army to challenge the status quo in this country. Especially the part with both houses of Congress being a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Where is the shadow government when you need them?

What about Alex Jones? He is one of the very few people to make Glenn Beck look sane and rational in comparison.

3 RepliesWhile you're wondering how anyone could be that crazy there are countless people who believe every single word he says.

I'm surprised him and Alex Jones aren't best buddies.
