3 RepliesI like Skyrim. I enjoy playing it. I think it's a good game. Fuck anyone who can't respect my opinion.
-
1 ReplyAs someone who has an Atari 2600 hooked up to his TV... If you think Skyrim is so bad that anyone who likes it is stupid you have never actually played a bad game.
-
Story and quests coulda been better, but its still hella fun
-
Was playing Skyrim today. 'twas awesome as per usual.
-
I thought it was a fun area to explore.

1 ReplyI think the next installment would be really fantastic if they incorporated some of the really cool mods that people make for PC Skyrim. Although, it seems like the community enjoys fixing the game and making it rad.

7 RepliesI liked it.

3 RepliesEdited by MR E0S: 2/12/2014 1:15:54 AMAfter reading through the thread... this is the conclusion I've come too. You think Morrowind. A Game where the RPG mechanics get in the way and require you to have to train yourself against a rat in someones cellar. Swing your sword 100 times just to connect 1 time out of that 100, repeat for training up your blocking skills, etc. Is a superior Elder Scrolls game? You're a -blam!-ing idiot. The ONLY thing Morrowind has going for it, above all other ES games. Was the damn near unlimited possiblity to completey destroy any challenge the game has by creating your own spells. Oh, why fast travel when I can JUMP 10,000,000 miles through the air!!! I will admit that it was cool to have the ability to create spells of that caliber... but I also like a game that actually puts barriers in my way to avoid reducing any and all challenge the game poses. But anyway, back to the main point of why you're an idiot. If you're going to rag on how dull and boring combat in Skyrim is.... Morrowind is 1,000x worse. Not only that... But... Endurance.. Controlled by: Heavy Armor Medium Armor Block Spear SPEAR? GTFO! Skyrim was the first ES game I played where I did not try to min-max my character. I didn't have to avoid fighting with a particular weapon, because I was afraid on losing out on a x5 bonus for a stat I deemed more important than the one controlled by that particular weapon. Conclusion: An Elder Scrolls game where you actually just play the game, instead of the character sheet. But I guess, a character sheet makes a better game.... right? Especially when the character sheet and the level up process dictates how to play your character.. I want a character that does this and that..... Well too bad.... cause your character is going to be using a spear instead.

I hate Skyrim, can't stand it. For me, the game can be summed up with one word. Disappointment. That said, I don't think that the game is an insult to anyone's intelligence. I guess some prefer more free roam elements and less RPG elements.

1 ReplyRemember why RPGs were action games that had stories that sucked you in for hours at a time, and you didn't worry about your characters stats all too much? Sure, you had a focus, but you weren't worried that by accidentally using a bow that one time would ruin your character five hundred hours later. No, Morrowind was one of my all-time-favorite RPGs, but you cannot compare Morrowind and Skyrim anymore than you can compare Morrowind to ESO. They might be called "Elderscrolls" but they aren't close to the same game. Of course, if they were, you'd be complaining about how the series doesn't change.

Its unplayable on a console, a CONSOLE. FPS drops so low that you think it froze.

Who bumped this stupid thread?

i don't even know why i clicked this post.

I will agree that Skyrim is a completely diluted, simplified RPG with mediocre combat. However, I still enjoy the game because it offers something that no other game in the genre offers: Exploration and extreme class flexibility.

Edited by Lime: 1/29/2014 8:45:36 PMThat's quite an assertion you've got there. I hate Skyrim because it has horribly bad combat and is boring as hell but I can at least understand why people like it. Lets not shit on people for their poor taste in games. Edit: grammar

1 ReplyScrew you.

26 RepliesI don't mind a game that requires me to actually explore, and work for my gear, and has several hundred quests.

4 RepliesHa TROLOLOLOL. Why do trolls even put stuff like this when u know the response ur gonna get

5 RepliesLols, I enjoy it but it's not hard/challenging in the slightest. I'm looking forwards to the Skyrim/Morrowind Mod/Mashup that's being made, since that should be a bit more engaging whilst looking as good as Skyrim.
