2014 Gaming Predictions
Which games do you think will get announced?
Which upcoming games do you think will be a resounding success/failure?

1 ReplyMass Effect 4 announcement. Possibly Fallout 4 as well. Destiny won't flop, but it won't be as good as people say it is. The Division looks like it could be GOTY material. EA will win another "Worst Company in America" for the 3rd straight year.

Edited by iGraviton: 1/2/2014 10:37:36 PM- Fallout 4 is announced at E3, then released in October. - Titanfall has moderate success, but it won't be the CoD-killer people are making it out to be. - Destiny's main draw will be competitive multiplayer, even though it's been advertised more as a co-op game. - Halo 5 is good, but not good enough to restore the prestige of the Halo franchise. - SteamMachines achieve unexpected success, but still not competing with consoles. - TESO will flop and go F2P within 6 months, as a result of both the monthly subscription fee and a plethora of launch issues. - Mass Effect 4, after several gameplay demos and developer interviews, slowly becomes one of the most-hyped games for 2015. -Watch_Doges doesn't live up to hype.

-halo 5 is the worst selling halo, but gameplay will be much better and community will embrace the game (well in comparison to reach/4). unfortunately the tradeoff may be for a brian reed story. -i continue to wonder where the fck eidos is with deus ex universe. -mass effect 4 upstages expectations -titanfall becomes the new "rage at" game -i will be one of the handful of people to go "meh that's not for me" when looking at destiny.

1 ReplyElder Scrolls Online will be a huge flop. Halo 5 will be better than Halo 4 but still "meh". Titanfall will possibly dethrone CoD in population on Xbox. Destiny will be very good but it won't live up to the hype. Microtransactions will be more apparent than ever.

Halo 5 multiplayer is saved by dedicated servers and Windows 8 release. Destiny plays well but is otherwise smaller in scope than people are expecting. Sports games have their rosters updated and are resold for full price. Super Smash Brothers Wii U is still not competitive, sells like hot cakes. Titles we actually care about are announced for 2015. Video games; not irresponsible access to a weapon, poor parenting, or lack of mental health treatment; are blamed for youth violence. Dark Souls fans will be in anguish over the sequel's lack of the Mask of the Father.

Teso will become mainstream on consoles like wow. Everyone will hate on whats cool. Nintendo released zelda wiiu. Destiny is meh, fallout 4 amazing. Capcom goes bankrupt. Valve announces half life 3. Xbox one and ps4 will release no real good exclusives.
