I didn't even so much as look at gameplay footage of RE6; RE5 was the Resident Evil I bought and honestly I had a lot of fun playing the game while It lasted. Once I started visiting the Capcom unity forums, however, my world was turned upside-down and I started to believe that Resident Evil was dying. Any interest I had in ORC and RE6 was crushed in its tracks. Fortunately I can take a hint from what I learned in Sociology and realize that RE4 & RE5 weren't such bad games just because they diverged from the survival horror formula, especially with how hypocritical it'd be since I once loved these games. This is why I do not blame people who want to play RE7 if they legitimately enjoyed RE6.
