Yeah :[
It's not like English Literature essays where you have to empty two pen's worth of ink talking about Shakespeare but they still suck >:v
I did a lot of mini-essays in my A Level and those were pretty easy, but on the course I've done one on Inequality (Amon liked this :D) and Consumerist Society. Now I have to do a 1500 word analysis on the ethnic demographics of the UK and whether Rural Areas are a place of Exclusion or Inclusion when it comes to minority groups.
It's interesting enough but the next one sounds tear inducing 'Discuss modern and flexible methods of traffic control'... riveting stuff. Then an essay on 'Britishness' and how it unifies the people living in the country. Then one on 'Examine and assess the claim that 'there is no legitimate authority internationally' which is going to be about the UN and various political pacts.
It's a bit far flung from mental illness which is the stuff I want to do, but the last essay certainly sounds interesting enough :D
I really have no idea ._.
I would guess it's to do with how road planners/highway agency use Psychology to try and prevent congestion and keep people driving safely. I just skipped ahead in the book and it seems to be about how the shift from roads where pedestrians and cares mingled chaotically to an ordered system of roads, signs, bollards and lights.
There is someone arguing with a counter point that roads and pavements should be the same thing and that it should be up to the driver to negotiate safe passage...
I bet he has never played GTA...
Up to the driver
That seems absurd.
I was crossing a sidewalk last Monday and the lady decided I was going too slow. I swear to god I could almost feel her car touch me when she revved forward a bit to get me moving faster. I flipped her off and resisted kicking the hood but leaving safety up to the driver, especially in San Diego, is what.
Wait. I just work up. I think I read and misinterpreted the up to the driver thing.
Uuuuuh
Ignore me!
You didn't :L
It's crazy lol, I think it's only in here for the sake of having a counter point to tear apart in an essay. I mean I could disprove the whole idea of 'driver responsibility' by being behind the wheel in the middle of a big shopping centre in about five minutes and twenty hospitalisations.
It seems like a rather weak counter argument
But you never know I suppose. Someone could see something I don't and break me apart on that standing 0.0
