Posted by: Ghandi 2 Cole Train was kind of funny the first time. But then he kept saying it, constantly. Not entirely related, but does anyone else think that it's sort of racist that Cole acts that way and he's the only black character in the game? At the very least it's painfully stereotypical, especially with the Cole rap at the end. I don't think Epic are actually racists, but it bothered me.
Actually I think that one stranded that loans you the car was black also. "The Train is a smooth ride" - Cole "It's a -blam!- party down here" - Baird, while in the sewers

At the very least I don't think anyone thinks "To war" is anything but abysmal, except I guess for Bungie or else they wouldn't have put it in.
I have to say that I was greatly disappointed in the Bungie writers at that point in Halo 3.
When do they say "To war!" quote? I haven't played campaign for awhile.
In the beginning cinematic of the second level. A soldier asks Miranda Keyes where he should send the troops or something along that line. She replies, while cocking her pistol, "to war".
Wow. That does sound pretty dumb
Posted by: Ghandi 2 None of them are good. It is some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard. Only "To War" from H3 matches Gears.
OBJECTION! *slams fist* oh and before you complain to evil...im doing this sparantly and i will add something worthy to post so its not spam some quotes are good in GoW...but not that many heres one: Baird: Theres -blam!- everywhere! Cole: Come on Baird, little bit of this builds up your immune system Baird: ya it also builds disease my other quote i like is this: Cole: oh hell ya we got the hook up. They giving us a big ass dinner. i laugh at the quote for some reason. i like also like the quote when Carmine shoots somebodys head off in multiplayer: Yea, suck it...suck it!! i laugh when he says that also :D and yes Ghandi the "to war" quote in H3 was stupid
Posted by: I Macora I Dom- "woo, we could smell you two comin'. Baird- "it's a -blam!- party down here!" Act 3, before they are underground
That's not how it went, but i love that part makes me laugh every time.

Only "To War" from H3 matches Gears.
The dialogue is spot on. The game is like an action movie and it goes for that angle. At least it doesn't set it's target and miss it horribly like halo.
Willfully failing is not an acceptable excuse for failure. I know it was trying to be an action movie, but that doesn't make the dialogue any less terrible.

oh yeah, suck it! suck it! -Carmine, pull of a sick headshot in multiplayer
