What will be better elder scrolls online or Destiny?

1 ReplyI don't know anything about Destiny other than it's a modern aim down sights console shooter with an emphasis on coop and loot. Bungie's secretive ways aren't doing them any favors with Destiny like it did for Halo, I want some details. Of course if there isn't a PC version I'm not going to bother with it at all and that's still a possibility. TESO is great and I look forward to playing it once it's complete. And even if it does become F2P there's going to be a few great months of play with all of the big Elder Scrolls fans. Not too happy about being barred from coop adventure with my Ebonheart/Daggerfall friends though.

Elder Scrolls Online is great for gigantic mid evil style combat, probably will have better online PvP Destiny will have better everything else

2 RepliesIt's like choosing between shit and shit

2 RepliesDestiny, if the ESO becomes free2play then I'll buy it for the lore. It does have a story right?
-
Destiny.... So you don't pay 15 bucks a month.

To be completely honest, these two games should not be compared when talking about which is better. They are two completely different games. Destiny is a shared world FPS, and TESO is a full blown fantasy MMORPG. If TESO is as good as everyone hopes it is, then I see it selling more than Destiny. I don't understand all the complaining going on about TESO having a monthly subscription though. I mean look at WoW, it has the same exact thing and its one of the most successful games of all time. If it is as good as we hope, then I see it having a bigger player base than even the all mighty WoW, especially since its on more than just the PC.

Very very hard choice.

6 RepliesFor the price of 1 year of TESO you can buy Destiny 1, 2, 3, and, 4.

4 RepliesI voted for ESO simply because they stuck to their promises of when beta would be coming, and they didn't push back their release date a few days ago. I've been playing ESO beta as often as I can, and it's probably the single greatest mmo I have ever played. The character creator alone is better than most games, and the combat/ overall gameplay is if anything better than Skyrim's in my opinion. It is for the most part bug-free, I've found a few so far, but nothing horrible.

12 RepliesIf I have to choose right now? The Elder Scrolls Online. I've been able to play it, it's amazing. Won't get to play Destiny for quite some time. I have to go with the one I know, and I'm a much bigger Bethesda/Zenimax/Elder Scrolls fan than I am a Bungie fan.

What does your Destiny tell you?
-
3 RepliesTESO can go die in a hole.
-
No monthly fee for Destiny (it's no mmo though)
-
3 RepliesHardly a comparison when ESO is P2P and Destiny is free...
-
Monthly subscriptions need to go jump off a cliff. I'll wait for TESO to inevitably go F2P
-
3 RepliesEdited by DEZARATH: 12/11/2013 9:09:41 PMTESO can just die by fire for all I care about it. Subscription fee on top of a Live service? GTFO.

A shitty WoW clone or Destiny? That sure is a hard choice
-
4 RepliesWorst comparison ever

Edited by The Squatchmen: 12/12/2013 4:05:04 AMYou're dumb if your comparing those two games - that's like saying which fruit should I eat - A ripe, just picked off the tree orange or - A moldy ass banana
-
Destiny=Amazing OST, different and unique and may redefine the genre
-
Hmmmm maybe we should wait until the games come out.

Destiny, For Elders online you have to pay a monthly subscription, no thanks.
-
This is an obvious question

2 RepliesDestiny. I'm really looking forward the Bungie's new franchise. I don't want to pay $180 a year on top of the cost of buying the game and Xbox Live Gold subscription. Also, ESO isn't what The Elder Scrolls is to me. It isn't even developed by Bethesda. I'm betting the combat system is just a mindless hack-and-slash or magic-spam fest like the other Elder Scrolls games, just that you don't have any mods for in ESO. Skyrim (PC) is still good to me.
