Good place to use as a home base in Fallout New Vegas?
I can't use the Patrol Station because it's bugged and has a respawning hostile NCR soldier whenever I go there. I need somewhere secure with containers and a bed.

Whatever you do, for the love of god, do not use the scavenger shack. I spent 3 days of hoarding gathering stuff to fill that place with as a base... then it reset all the containers and spawned a bunch of scavengers who had looted the unreset crates and were walking around with my gear. The place looked like a charnel house after I'd finished with them but it didn't bring back my stuff :/

I don't even use home bases. Use the brotherhood of steel.

1 ReplyWolf horn Ranch has a load of safe lockers and has a fast travel directly outside the door. No enemy spawns near it and a farm just down the path. I like it. And a bed. But small and not too many shelves if you like decorating.

4 RepliesSo this bug is weird. Whenever I'm NOT dressed in NCR clothes, one spawns continuously and attacks me. As soon as I put the clothes back on, he stops spawning.

There's a shed near the Yangtze memorial (west of Goodsprings) with a bed, water, a reloading bench and a safe container.
