When I mate with my companion, I usually fear to show myself in a way... At Times I place on armour and activate my camouflage. He believes that it is some odd kink and accepts my habit, but I simply fear that he dislikes my appearance. How can I overcome this?

You need to have a talk with your companion. Tell him how you feel. Explain to him that you feel inadequate, and that you are afraid that he dislikes you appearance. It may be hard to gain the courage to do this. You might be afraid he will flat out reject you once you admit your doubts. But do not fear, if he truly loves you, all will be well. You'll be back to having sex like normal, and will not have to fear that he dislikes the look of your mandibles.
