I'm a bit confused as to why being a fan of one particular console is bad and that the term fanboy is something to fear. Who cares if someone likes one over the other.
My thoughts. The two systems are the same. The policies for the two companies are different. I'm not going to pay for Xbox live and then pay for everything else the system can do when it's free for the ps4. Ps + and that's it. Why would I pay for anything else. Plus why would I pay an extra $100 for the same system. So yes I guess you could call me a fanboy but that just means I'm smart in the financial department. The only reason I would get an Xbox one is if all my friends play it. Even then I still probably wouldn't.
Don't you have to pay for online on PS4. Also, I'm going to eventually get the Xbox one because my friends are getting it and i like the exclusives more
Yes the same as Xbox live. But you also have to pay for all the other things that the Xbox can do besides Xbox live, like skype and the ability to upload videos among other things(plus it's only a 5 min video on Xbox and 15 min video on Playstation). On Playstation yes I have to pay for Playstation plus but if I want to upload a video or live stream or get on skype or Facebook or anything else that the Xbox one can do, I wont have to pay the extra money to do that stuff along with paying for Playstation plus. Xbox one you do. Another thing to note is that if I didn't play multiplayer on games but wanted to watch Netflix or Hulu or even crunchyroll(anime) I wouldn't even need to pay for Playstation plus. As far as playing with your friends I'm all for it. If you have the extra 100 bucks then there's no reason for you to go sony if all your friends play Xbox.
