Keep in mind I'm most likely much older than you so Ive had a lot of time to practice and learn. You'll improve if you keep your chin up.
I'm painfully far away from other artists skills and talents but I'll never give up! <3
Make sure to draw for you enjoyment. If you make it a contest between you and the world you will always lose.
Art is entertainment and passion. It's what you want it to be.
It's a very common issue with artists.
Remember style doesn't equal skill either. Some artists have a different style and you really like it. You ask yourself
"Why don't I draw like that? I want my art to look that way..."
But everyone has their own comfort zone. Remember that someone out their wishes they could draw just like you do. Maybe even your friends and family.
Some people had extensive schooling. They have better tools to utilize, many peers to help them learn, learn faster, or are much older and more experienced.
The best advice I can give is to study anatomy, use references, did tutorials, and watch other people livestream. If you'd like when I get off work I can gather up a ton of tutorial and guides and anatomy studies to use.
They've helped me exponentially in the past two years.
Haha thanks! But no need to do all that hassle for me. I am watching tutorials and trying to understand my programs better. Testing things and see what tool does what etc...
One of my friends does indeed wish he could draw like me, but I am sure that if he practices a lot he will be able to draw amazing things too.
Here is my latest thing I made btw. :]
You are very helpful. :3
Dude that's really cool. Did you make the ladder as well? If so then you have a firm grasp of perspective and lighting 0.0
That's bloody fantastic. It's very clean too.
And I'm glad to help in any way I can. It's no trouble.
