Why does everybody judge Halo 4 based on it's Matchmaking?
You can turn all that junk off and play Classics way and with the smoother movement, H2/3 style health/shields, BR and Carbine plus Forge remakes and normal weapon spawning etc....it will feel more like H2/H3 than Reach will ever feel like. Plus even though some Forge and Custom Options been removed, there are still some super fun maps and gametypes that Reach or H3 will never create. C'mon H4 is a really great game even if Matchmaking, Spops, music and Campaign gameplay failed to deliver compared to previous titles. Not to mention H4 still has amazing customs and forge.

Not to mention H4 still has amazing customs and forge.[/quote] Custom games and forge are pretty much all halo 4 has because the story is way to short and the multiplayer is even worse because it matches you up with people who can't hold there own especially if you playing big team battle and the halo 3 ranking system was the best even if it was broken you level up if your good and down if your bad and it's story was long fun and could be played more than once with out getting boring.

I liked the Campaign (it's my third favorite one in a Halo game). But the Multiplayer did get boring after a while.

All in all the game was an achievement but more in terms of spectacle and engineering than gameplay, and I think the attempt to design something to compete with Call of Duty was to blame, but I don't know why I'm beating this dead horse...

You have to mod the game for it to be anywhere near decent, and then you can only play it among a few of your friends. Actually, even with competitive gametypes that [i]are[/i] possible, like Throwdown, the Halo 4 community is so unsupportive of that stuff that you can only play [i]that[/i] with a few of your friends, and maybe the 2 other people worldwide trying to search in Throwdown. Even for casual play, the game is less innovative than every other title. At least with Reach, when the competitive multiplayer was bad, there was a ton of stuff to do in custom games. Custom game options in H4 were completely hacked apart and there is nothing to do. GG343

After the campaign everyone is gonna jump into multiplayer. The thing I hate about machmaking is that they don't seperate the competitive players from the casual players unlike Halo 3 that had different playlists like the social and ranked playlists.

I see a lot of comments saying 'oh but it's ok just use settings and mods to make it more like halo 3 or reach' well then it would be a shitty version of 3/reach with no UNSC air support! (Which bugged me way more than it should've)

I don´t like it. Although I have played Halo 4 with pretty much Halo 3 settings and it works beautifully. I don´t judge the whole game only on the multiplayer. I loved the campaign of it.

9 RepliesNot everyone does. I absolutely despise Halo 4 because of the rubbish shit we were presented as a story and how much it -blam!-s up the lore and violates canon. I couldn't care less about the multiplayer and never really did, I always got each and every Halo game for the story and any multiplayer the game might have was nothing more than an added bonus, I wouldn't care if Halo no longer had multiplayer or if it had never had it. I was invested in Halo because of the story....which is no longer the case because of what 343i has done with it.

2 RepliesHalo 4 (at least imo) was good, but it was plagued with bugs, glitches, and features that were removed at launch. It was (imo, again) the second worst Halo game. Dat campaign, though.
