Was I just hallucinating when I played 'Team Snipers' and 'Team Swat' on Halo 2? So, after reading through the worst post since the "DLC will cost $", I'm reading you're gonna rank BTB, but not even consider bringing back either of these CLASSIC PLAYLISTS? I know plenty of people played snipers, and I remember your H2 game-distribution charts two weeks after Swat was introduced - it was off the chain, and so was Ranked Swat, for that matter (it was almost comical watching your rank bounce up and down, so hard to get past that damn 17!) After playing Halo tonight I almost took Halo 3 out of my X-BOX and shattered it, because of the bull crap of the beat down and the spawn points. If i beat someone down first and they have no shields and I die time and time again,then screw Halo 3. I also Spawn with someone hitting me in the back or right in the middle of the map to be sniped or right by my team mate in a battle first thing i see is a grenade in my face.That is bull crap.Fix it or I will join the others and play COD4. This will be a great update.BTB and Hardcore are my 2 favorite playlists.There are a lot of people that would probably also like to have Team Snipers back because the shotty snipes in slayer and tactical arent frequent enough.There should definatly be a seperate Snipers playlist.

Sol, I am glad to find someone that wants TEAM SNIPERS! I love sniping, it was my favorite part of H2, but now it's ridiculous. You can't even get a variant that doesn't have radar. Bungie needs to stop putting AWFUL variants like Swords because they like them or they had fun playing them at the office. I can't stand having to swing the GD sword three times and watch in dismay as I get killed by some noob. Swords has no real skill at all, its a joke. Snipers was totally different. Lag is not near as much of an issue, I find it to be the most accurate variant of H2. Sure some people will lag, its inevitable. But I would trade ten BTB or Hardcore variants for one that started the players with a Beam rifle and a Sniper rifle with NO RADAR. And don't give me this crap of "Shotty Snipers" it doesn't even compare. Also if you wouldn't like a Sniper variant, DONT PLAY IT YOU ASS! Don't pick up your controller and select that gametype in Matchmaking. I think we should still have the right to choose that variant, even if you don't care for it. Now we got soccer, grrrrreeeeeaaaattttt. It's like "Rocket Race", WHO CARES? I do not like how Bungie has taken over the playlists and deleted the games I really liked for no apparent reason. And yes the beatdowns are ridiculous. I just laugh now because I used to get pissed off as all hell but then I realized it's not going to change, so I adjusted my style of play. It still feel robbed when I get beatdown by someone that I just decimated with a shotgun, but Bungie knows about it and I believe they will fix the problem, eventually. It's just enraging when someone shoots you with 5-10 rounds with the AR, melees you and its lights out. I personally love the noob in H3, it is a lot harder to get a kill which is exactIy what needed to happen. And the term "Noob" was created to describe some rookie abusing a noob combo in H2. It was way way too easy to shoot off a noob and use a BR to get a headshot, so easy even a NEWBIE can use it. It was a term used to describe someone that wasn't skilled enough to use regular weapons to get a kill, instead they resorted to being a cheap NOOB. But in H3 it is much harder to pull off the noob combo. I laugh my ass off because I will go around and use a noob melee combo or "Noob Boxing". I rarely use it to pull off a cheap headshot. Either way im happy with H3, it just needs some fine tuning.

how can you say that team swat didnt work??? they still have it in unranked in halo 2, i understand why they should not put it in ranked in halo 3, cuz people would get like every medal, but if it would be in social, then that would be fine. I like the update and it's great and all, but I still think that they should update a shotty and sniper playlist into matchmaking instead of just Team slayer, and then hoping to get Shotty and snipers. this update is full of win, bar BR start on game variants, that's just plain dumb, the AR' is the perfect starting weapon, i know I, and many more shall hate the new br starts.

This update is really nothing special. A short but important story follows.....Last winter I kept warm on Halo 2 by playing lots of Team Swat. Ranked, when it was and unranked when it wasn't ranked anymore. Team Hardcore, fine the more the better, BTB, same thing. But the lack of a Team Swat playlist is making me lose my mind and in the end, I spend more time on COD4 than I ever thought I would. The new maps look sweet and if Bungie really wants to make this Christmas that much more merrier, I suggest they slide in a Team Swat playlist as soon as possible.

Have you tried to, it takes a good bit of skill to line up the plasma bolt, and then follow it up with a well placed headshot. Fix it, what's to fix.
