Do Canadians complain about God being in the anthem?
In other words, does Canada have immature and whiny atheist like America?

2 RepliesI don't know much about Canada's "Constitution" or whatever they call it, but the separation of Church and State was pretty clearly laid out in our 1st amendment. The 1954 addition of the phrase "under god" to our pledge is unconstitutional.

Every now and then a few people start whining about it, but pretty much everyone else tells the to shut up or GTFO. Surprisingly, you don't hear many complaints about the French version, which has much more Christian symbolism in it. It's also more militaristic. For you Americans, it's not a straight translation, but a completely different set of lyrics.
