Should the Pledge of Allegiance be forced on school kids?
I was reading on some rather odd pages how some people believe/disbelieve that the pledge should be recited by school kids daily and I was wondering what your thoughts are on this.
I personally don't think so, and for various reasons, one of which being false patriotism for a nation that's as badly damaged as America. I have another point to bring up, but that'll be later.
For the other point: NPA (No Party Affiliated voters) cannot vote on the presidential elections. I know this because my mom and her friend are both NPA and I asked about what all they could/could not partake in, with only the presidential elections being withheld from them. If we have free speech and such, why do NPA's get no voice? We have the sociopathic far-offs of each side, which we allow them to vote, but not a person of no affiliation.
